The ball valve body is the main part of the valve, including the flow path and connecting pipes, which keep the working medium inside the valve. The blank of such a part is a thick-walled pipe with a length of up to 500 mm, with a wall thickness of up to 200 mm, inside which a ball plug locking element of the valve is placed, and the body flanges are welded or fastened on both sides.

Ball valve body blanks are made of steel grades 20, 20L, 09G2S, 20GL, 12X18H10T, 10X17H13M2T.
