Oval and octagonal steel gaskets for flanges of fittings GOST R 53561-2009 are used to ensure high sealing of flange joints under high pressure and temperature conditions.

Oval and octagonal gaskets are designed to seal flange connections with flanges of nominal diameter DN from 10 to 400 mm, for nominal pressure PN from 6.3 MPa to 20.0 MPa. The gasket is installed in the groove of the flange and when the fasteners are tightened, the end mating surfaces of the oval-shaped gaskets and the wall of the groove of the flange come into contact. As a result of such a seal, the reliability and tightness of the flange connection is ensured. In this case, tight contact of the gasket with each flange occurs in two areas at once: along the inner and outer contour of the gasket.

Oval and octagonal steel gaskets are tested for mechanical properties. The products comply with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union of the EAEU TR CU 032/2013, supplied with quality certificates.
