This standard establishes the design, dimensions and general technical requirements for oval and octagonal steel gaskets for flange connections of valves and pipelines for nominal pressure PN from 6.3 to 16.0 MPa and temperature from minus 70 to 600 ° C. The Ring Billet Plant manufactures steel gaskets from DN 150 to DN 400 mm.
Gaskets with an oval section OST 26.260.461 99 are installed for the tightness of the connecting surfaces that arise in the connecting parts of equipment, pumps, fittings with high pressure, pumps, and compressor equipment. Such equipment is most often used in petrochemical engineering, gas and oil production, oil refineries and other industrial sectors.
